With regards to the missing messages/replies – what follows are my options
but none of them seem reasonable to me, but I welcome input:

1) Shut down the site

2) Charge for membership (my opinion this option will result in #1)

Con respecto a las faltantes mensajes/respuestas – lo que sigue son mis
opciones pero ninguno de ellos parece razonable:

1) cerró la pagina

2) carga de pertenencia (mi opinión esta opción resultará en
#1)

So we should just sign into the website to view all postings (announce, research and the other one) and not expect to receive postings via e-mail? Is there a problem that recently came up with the software?

Many websites charge for membership, and as valuable as this one has been, I don't think most of us would mind paying for an annual membership in order to keep the website available, in my opinion

Hi Emilie,

You don't actually have to sign in to view the postings, they're there for everyone to see. It's actually easier to read them on the website, because sometimes the thread goes back weeks, months or even years. Even if there were no issue with the messaging system, you would only be reading the reply to the previous post, whereas, going to the website allows you to read the thread in it's entirety. Also, the messages are in order, and, on the right hand side, under Research Forum Topics, General Forum Topics and Announcement Forum Topics, are the three threads, under each heading, with the most recent activity.

If I want to see what's going on within Nuestros Ranchos, all I have to do
is log in to the site. If you're a member, that's all you need to do, log
in and it's all there! Thanks Joseph, I can't imagine not having a Nuestros
Ranchos.
