Introduction

Hola Amigos,

My name is Beverly Ewald. I am a new member, but I'm "old." I have been
doing genealogy for at least 60 years, but every day I learn something new.

I'm doing research on these surnames: Almaguer, Garcia, Gonzales, Medina,
Mendoza, Muños, Sanchez, Sotomayor, Varrio, Zapata.

I'm researching these areas: Asientos, Mesillas, Rincon de Romos, Sagrario,
Tuiguirragui, Aguascalientes.

See my file at:
http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/node/19189

My Spanish skills are minimal. I speak and read solamente poquito. I was
born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and now live about 30 miles north of
that city in the Texas Hill Country. I drive into San Antonio five days a
week to my job at the Alamo. I work in the Library of the Daughters of the
Republic of Texas, which is on the Alamo grounds. It is a perfect job for a
researcher--lots of materials on Texas History and many old Mexican/Spanish
documents. Our catalog is online. Look at our webpage:
http://www.drtl.org

I look forward to being a part of this group.

Saludos cordiales,

Beverly
