Hello

I was going through baptisms for 1616 to 1662,Sagrario Aguascalientes AG, and I came across a reference to Francisca Gauadi as the madrina for a child born to Maria Siordia and Luis de Medina. The padrino is named as Martin Ruiz de Esparza "su hijo". They are both described as "vecinos de esta villa" The date is 3 Aug 1617 and I was wondering if anyone has an earlier reference to Francisca Gabay placing her in Aguascalientes.

Here is the link to the image:

Bernabe Ruiz de Esparza (Gabadi)

Thanks Deedra!

I was curious to see who the padrinos were (Dona ? Paredes and Juan Bauptista). Interestingly, the first entry on that page is for a girl (Catalina) whose mother was a criada for Maria Gabadi, at a place called Chapultepec (I guess that would be the Labor de Chapultepec), and the madrina was Dona Maria de Siordia. I've skimmed these pages recently, don't know how I missed Bernabe!

Regards
Denise
