My grandfather was Rafael Villegas(1927) born in Huejucar, Jalisco. He came to live in Jerez, Zaca when he was a young boy and married Andrea Hernandes. Rafael Villegas father was Mauricio Villegas(1890) married to Luisa Flores. Mauricios parents were Jacinto Villegas(1860) and Crecensia Quesada. All were born in Huejucar, Jalisco. Jacintos parents were Juan Jose Villegas and Vitoria Banuelos. Their parens were Manuel Villegas and Ana Maria Sanches. They were born in Las Bocas, Huejucar or Puerto Las Bocas as indicated in birth certificates. Manuels Parents are Jose Agustin Villegas and Maria Rosalia Anriquez. In the christening documents they are listed as "Espanoles" and White race. The first two children of Agustin Villegas and Rosalia Anriquez were born in Jerez, Zac after that they moved to Huejucar were all the generations were born and raised.

I want to welcome you to the group-- I did respond to your other message about Agustin Villegas. I just wanted to let you know that we are related through this family and through the Quesadas and Banuelos, and maybe others. This also means you are related to the founder of this group, Joseph Puentes, as he is descended from the Banuelos family.
