A man named juan Sotelo died in sguascalientes in 1641. I have previously posted on this.
As you note, francisco died in 1669.
And then there was a man named Antonio Sotelo mentioned in connection with francisco.

I think one or more of these men was/were the son of hernando/fernando sotelo de moctezuma of michoacan.

The codex chimalpahin states that Diego Arias de sotelo and Leonor Valderrama had a son named hernando, and he in turn had 10 children. One of these 10 was named Juan. The four others are named Diego, leonor, hernando, and Ana. The codex does not name the other five, but states they are living in michoacan with their father. If you google "codex chimalpahin valderrama" the first hit will take you to the relevant pages of the book, pages 105-111.

I really do not know if juan sotelo of aguascalientes is the same as juan sotelo son of hernando sotelo (in some sources named as fernando). It's just a theory, therefore i am eager to see a record of marriage for any of the three men mentioned above.
