Hi Katy,
I don't descend from this family, but, from everything I've read, Maria Cid is always described as either a sister or a half-sister. And, I think a Will dated in the 1500s is a much more reliable source than a record of orders dated nearly two hundred years later.

i'm confused so...

ok. i haven't found out if i descend from miguel or not, but i do decend from maria cid from daughter catalina and possibly her son pedro (note: one of my ancestors is matiana cid and i'm not sure if she's pedro's adoptive daughter or bio-daughter)
