Hello everyone, I've been away from my research for a few years and have recently started in again. I was wondering if anyone could help me with the translation on the link I've included. I have gotten out of practice in these three years I've been inactive. My ancestor, Refugio Berumen on the right page was always referred to as "hija natural ". This is the only document that named her father as Cayetano Gonzales, but I would have expected "hija ilgitima", instead it's another word that I've not seen before and can't quite make out. If anyone is familiar with it please let me know.

Help with translation

Hi Barbara,

It says hija espuria, meaning spurious or illegitimate.

Thank you

Hi Chris, thank you so much, I had never seen it worded that way before.
