  • Pedro Alvarez de Navia- Tlaltenango
By superhorrible | Sun, 2020-01-05 00:08

Hello,

I'm looking for any information about Pedro Alvarez de Navia. He was a resident of Tlaltenango about 1640-1650. The only thing that I know is that he was the "nephew" of Francisca de Molina "su tia" (Tapia or Bobadillo) wife of Antonio Vela. Both were godparents in a baptism in Tlaltenango where the relationship was stated. I want to understand how he was related to Francisca

Thank you in advance

Pedro Alvarez de Navia-

Might the name be "Alvertez?"

Top right - baptism of Luis Vela (son of Antonio Vela and Francisca Molina/Tapia/Bobadilla)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939N-T49T-R6?i=49&cc=1804458

II don't know where I put the rest of my links, but I have Francisca de Molina and her brother Francisco de Molina as children of Luis de Molina. Francisco was married to Isabel Alvertez/Albertiz (i'm not sure the proper spelling of this name).

Hope that helps
! Andrea

Pedro Alvarez de Navia

Andrea,
Thank you, I'm guessing the same thing. That Alvarez de Navia is the same as Alvertiz (Alvertez).

Thank you again

Pedro Alvarez de Navia

Or Francisco and Francisca's sister Catalina Jimenez was married to the Alvarez de Navia. I believe she's the only sibling I don't have a spouse for.

Baptism of Catalina and Francisco's niece identifying them as siblings - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939N-T49T-F7?cc=1804458&wc=3P9N…
