In going through the Informacion Matrimonial for Aguascalientes, 1711, I found another child for Thomas de Villalpando and Maria de Vargas. He is Nicolas de Alexos Villalpando, from Asientos, age 33 (thus born about 1678). He may have been the first child born to Thomas and Maria; there is no baptismal record for him. His bride-to-be is Francisca de Zalas, daughter for Juan de la Rocha and Maria de Zalas; she is from Sombrerete.

I did not find a marriage for them in either Aguascalientes or Asientos. However, there is a Maria Ysavel de Villapando, daughter of Nicolas Villalpando and Francisca de Salas, who married Simon Vasquez, in Santa Maria de los Lagos, 28 Nov 1746. I have not yet looked at this film (0221514). I did not find a record for her birth, or that of any other children for Nicolas and Francisca.

I have gone through the Informacion Matrimonial for Aguascalientes from the beginning (1666) to 1699 completely, and am working on the early 1700s. A number of 1700s films are currently off-line, so my data is not yeyt complete. I've posted the first part (through 1699) under Aguascalientes Marriages in the Files area.

I don't know what time period you are interested in, but this is what I have:

Vol 1696/97, image 100
Eugenio Losano, son of Joseph Losano and Petrona Gonzales, and Maria Duron, daughter of Andres Duron and Juana Basques.

There is no Jose Ruis de Esparza, but several Josephs:

vol 1703, image 123, Padres no conosodios (this is for Joseph de Esparza)
vol 1698/1701, image 115, son of Martin Ruis de Esparza and Francisca Zotelo de Jaen
vol 1698/1701, iamge 343, son of Alonso Ruis Mateo and Matiana Ruis de Esparza
vol 1701, image 1, son of Alonso Ruis Mateo and Matiana Ruis de Esparza (this is a continuation of the previous record).

many thanks yup thats my Eugenio and Maria Duron or Duran. I see both in all sorts of records. The Joseph Ruiz de Esparza im looking for is ca. 1730 he actually married the daughter of Eugenio Lozano. The Duran/Vasquez line goes into Nochistlan, so Im stuck there.

This is the new info I have maybe you have these in your database.

Eugenio Lozano was son of Jose Lozano and Petronila Gonzalez aka Petrona de Macias y Valades, aka Petronila de Retamosa. I found there marriage in Teocaltiche 23 feb 1666. On the other side Maria Duron (Duran) daughter of Jose Andres Duran and Juana Asencion Vasquez y Sandoval. Andres is son of Juan Simon Duran and Regina de Aguayo.

I have not reached the 1730s yet, as I am still working on 1712. Most of the later films are still off-line. My goal is to work on these until I get to the point where the marriages records and the matrimonial information are in agreement, that is, when they generally both exist, and the information in them is the same. I also intend to post these, also, when complete.

Oh I gorgot on Jose Esparza and Dolores Rio, I never found any kids, so they might have married bet 1700-1715 since their daughters marriage record list her to have been born ca. 1715.
