Are there any online sources of information or portals where records can
be requested for the 1968 and 1969 time period for Altas Palmas, Jerez,
Zacatecas? I have a person who is trying to confirm their own date of
birth and I don't know where he would write to request documents.
Information that can be requested Online or via the Postal system is
what I'm trying to obtain for this person.

Hi Joseph:

There is a website called: Actaexpress.com in El Paso. They can get birth
certificates, marriage certificates and other legal documents from most
places in Mexico, for a fee, of course. The better alternative is to
contact the Registro Civil in Jerez, Zacatecas. I am sure Jerez has a
website with a directory where you can find a way to contact their office of
the Registro Civil.
