I have searched for the dispensa that would give Juana Gertrudis age but I did not see find it. Her brothers found are andres Gomes b. 18 FEB 1704 Pinos, and Thoribio Gomes 21 MAY 1705, Pinos. Her son Esiderio b. 1725 is 7 years before the Dispensa which is probably why they had to get a Dispensa.

Does anyone know where else to look for the dispensa? Perhaps someone has or knows of this family and possibly know if Christobal Gomes is part of the Gomes Martin, Ruelas de Sotomaior family and possibly know who Dona Maria Rodriguez is? There are a lot of Rodriguez interwoven in this family as well as Delgado. Thanks, Simona

Here's the dispensa, dated 16 Nov 1731. They had been living together for 10 years and had 6 children, but they were dispensed at 1o grado, because she had carnal relations with his brother. tt Simon Cervantes, Gregorio Macias, Fracisco Gabriel Lopez

I haven't been able to link Cristobal Gomez to the Gomez de Ruelas y Sotomayor, so he's likely from another family.

she states she is 30 years old (1702) so I can look for her baptism and see if there is any more info given for gomes. Hopefully it is more accurate than Joseph Vicente who states he is 38yo (43yo b. 1688)

I can look for more children and records and hopefully come up with something new.
