I need help reading some of the names in this marriage from Chihuahua, Mexico, Civil Registrations, 29 dic 1879 for Bernardo Carmona and Ma. Juana Ocon.

I can't make out the name of the groom's grandfather --Pan--?--Carmona.

I also can't make out the name of the bride's paternal grandmother ---Ma ? Munoz ?

What is the bride's paternal grandmother ---Ma. Pla.(?) Munos (?)
I looks like only her maternal grandmother is listed --Antonia Errera (?)

It is a long record that takes up two and a half pages in the marriage volume. I am so mixed up now.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi Emilie.

My name is Ruben (It is displayed on your post at NR site. "Submitted by ...")

I do not have an Ancestry subscription.

If you can provide the book's details (City, description: e.g. "Libro de copias de actas de matrimonio de ...", dates range of records in the book, etc., usually the information is on the cover or in the front page of the book) I can look for the document at FamilySearch.

Link to the document.

Hello, Ruben,

Thanks so much. I first found the document on Ancestry because they have indexed Civil Registrations whereas Fam Search has not, Plus they have a direct link that pulls the image for one to see. but I still found it for you on Fam Search:

Enter Search on Fam Search. Then:

1.
Click on "Browse all Published Collections"
2.
Click on "Historical Record Collections"
3.
Scroll down to "Mexico, Chihuahua, Civil Registrations 1861-1997" - Browse Images
4.
Click on "Browse through 1,561,583 images"
5.
Sign in with your Fam Search Account. You might have to do this a couple of times until you can get back to where you were. I hate the way they make us do that.
6.
Click on "La Cruz"
7.
Click on "Matrimonios 1871-1950
8.
Go to Image 98 of 1903 - it will be on the left side

Thanks in advance,

Emilie

Bernardo's grandparents

Hello Emilie.

The document is poorly legible. My best guess:

Paternal grandparents: Ponciano Carmona and Maria Josefa Nieto

Maternal grandparents: Gabriel Reyes (Graviel) and Maria Juana Marquez

I hope this may be of help for your search.
