Helo Everyone!

I am trying to find out where two places are.
Mineral de Angeles is one, is this now Noria de Angeles or are they two different places?
The other is Mineral de Pinos. I know it must be in Pinos, Zacatecas, I just want to know where and if it has another name now.

Thank you.

Sofia

Hola a Todos!

Estoy buscando dos sitios, uno es Mineral de Angeles, que no se si es Noria de Angeles o son dos sitios diferentes. Y el otro es Mineral de Pinos. Se que esta en Zacatecas pero no se donde o si se conoce por otro nombre.

Gracias.

Sofia

Yes, I am also researching in Pinos and Los Angeles, now called Noria de los Angeles. They are the same place.
Noria de los Angeles is (kinda a part of Pinos) Yes and no. It's annexed to Pinos, but Loas Angeles still has a city city status not really, Its hard to explain. It happened in the 1780's. What are your surnames there? Mine are Camino, Oviedo, Gallegos, Blanco, Cordova. I only know the most from the Camino side and the Oviedo.

Mineral de Pinos and Mineral de Angeles

Hello Daniel,

It is my Great Great Grandfather, Eligio Davila Araiza, son of Cornelio Davila and Maria del Rosario Araiza. In the marriage document from Ojuelos de Jalisco, Jalisco when he married my Great Great grandmother in 1834, it states that he has only lived in El Sitio for 11 years and that he comes from Mineral de Angeles. By his marriage he was born in 1814, but I can't find anything. Im still new to all this research and I'm certain I'm missing out on ways to find more info for lack of knowledge.

Thank you!
