Re: E-mail from M. Castro to Rudy

Rudy,

Hello, again, my name is Michael Castro and I just sent an e-mail after seeing your post in a search I did (I punched in 'Huitzila')- Little did I know you actually recently posted again (yesterday!)... I'm so sorry to hear about your computer earlier this summer, that must've been horrible... I just wanted to make sure you don't feel rushed in any way by my request. Thank you for the kind offer, on behalf of us all.

Greetings primo!! was Availability of Family History Films

Hello Rudy, I was looking at some old messages and found yours. What a surprise to find you here. Perhaps you don't remember me, but years ago, we found each other at a genealogy forum and found out that we are related through our Curiel family from Atenguillo. In fact, you sent me a scan of my second greatgrandparents' marriage Ygnacio Curiel and Maria de Jesus Pena on January 26 1894. I appreciate that help, since I did not have that info before you provided it to me. I emailed you back, but I never heard from you again. After a while, I discontinued the email address that I was using to communicate. It sure feels good to find another primo here at Nuestros Ranchos.

However, you never mentioned how we are related and who our common ancestor was. I checked your family tree on the database and it does not contain that info.

Now that I know Rodolfo Flores is on nuestrosranchos, I can proudly say that I have FOUR primos on the website: Rodolfo Flores, through our Curiel line, Francisco Sevilla and Alessandro Vitela, through our Apodaca line, and Angel Cervantes, through our Cervantes line, even though we still haven't found our common ancestor but I have a strong belief he's there somewhere.

Anyways, Rodolfo, I hope you reply to this message and let me know how you are doing.

Saludos.

PS. Thank you Arturo and Joseph, God bless you.

Greetings primo!! was Availability of Family History Films

Hola Primos:
I also feel that we are very lucky to be able to communicate with each other via this medium.
Perhaps we can communicate in a more consistent basis and interchange the stories our ancestor had. Maybe pictures too.  Saludos desde San Diego California.
