My 3rd great grandparents were Eulogio Alvarez Flores and Carmen Flores Gonzalez. In the marriage info it says that they are related by "el parentesco de segundo con tercero de consanguinidad" Eulogio's parents were Jacinto Alvarez and Vicenta Flores. Carmen's parents were Carmen Flores and Antonia Gonzalez. I would like to know how they were related.

Consanguinidad

It seems that Vicenta Flores (mother of the broom) could be sister or cousin of Carmen Flores (father of the Bride) But you have to go to the Marriage Information that use to be a separate book of the same parish. The information could help you even to find the grand parents of the coupe. Good luck.

Consanguinidad Help

I think "parentesco de segundo con tercero de consanguinidad" means that the commom ancestor/s is/are two generations away from one of them and three from the other.
So, the grandparent/s of one of them is/are the great-grandparent/s of the second one.
This would mean that they were first cousins once removed. Maybe the groom was the first cousin of the father of the bride through the Flores line.

Consanguinidad Help

You need to look in Información Matrinonial for their marriage, maybe there
are a Dispensa and maybe there is a family three.
