I am thoroughly confused by the marriage record of my ggrandfather Jose de la Torre to my ggrandmother Maria Elena Romero. They were married Feb. 4, 1880 in San Francisco de Asis, Tepatitlan de Morelos, Jalisco. The record can be found in the 1876-1881 Matrimonios, image 329, bottom right side in FamilySearch.org. It states that Jose de la Torre is the widower of Feliciana Romero. In his marriage record to Feliciana Romero, his parents are recorded as Antonio de la Torre and Carmen Padilla. In his marriage record to Elena Romero, his parents are recorded as Dionicio Martin and Paula Saldana. Who are Dionicio Martin and Paula Saldana? What don’t I understand? Will someone who can read Spanish please explain what I am missing?

Hola Linda, espero puedas leer mi mensaje en español, seguramente fue un error de la persona que escribio el acta, mas bien una confusion y puso los nombres de los padres de otros contrayentes, los padres de Jose de la Torre son efectivamente Antonio de la Torre y Carmen Padilla como se comprueba en las actas de bautizo de los hijos de Feliciana y en los de Teresa.... y se puede comprobar con las demas actas de bautiso

Your translation is correct. I would research the first marriage and his baptism since he was 49 years old in 1880. The mentioned parents seem to be a mistake only if they are different than the birth/Baptismal certificate or the information of the first marriage. The padrinos and one witnesses are also de la torre and may be related.
