MUCHAS GRACIAS por los enlaces en tu post. No tenía el matrimonio de Cristóbal Sotelo y Juana Heredia. Espero con interés a leerlo! Estoy leyendo bautismos de Sagar. Metro. de la Ciudad de México al fin de los 1500s. Si encuentro algo de interés de linaje Moctezuma, yo sin duda compartirlo.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the links in your post. I did not have the one for the marriage of Cristobal Sotelo and Juana Heredia. I look forward to (trying!) to read it. We know that Diego Sotelo married Maria Manuel de Portugal by 1559, so Cristobal must have been at least 35 years old when he married Juana, and they married in Mexico City. Perhaps this points to Petronila getting married in Mexico City as well??? I am browsing though baptisms in Sagr. Metro. for Mexico City in the late 1500s, on the offchance that she is mentioned as padrina for someone. If I find anything of interest for the topic of linaje Moctezuma, I will certainly share it here in Nuestros Ranchos.
